UEFA EURO 2021 ::: Who will get the crown? Group F

        

It is the time of the UEFA EURO and we have brought our analysis of the exciting Football event as a usual overview of what is happening & what the rules say...



We have already given a snippet for Group A, B, C, D, E in this tab we are going to showcase a spotlight on Group F :



And to start with we are choosing the teams as mentioned on the UEFA site as per the rules.


Hungary: 

Past Best Record in UEFA: 3rd Place, 1964

Top Scorer in Qualifier: Willi Orban 

Coach: Marco Rossi

Key Player: Dominik Szoboszlai 

Dominik with his clear sense of vision orchestrates the mid-filed and his superb ball control and timely runs on and off the ball make him a tough catch always. Willi Orban is a no-nonsense defender and his superb anticipation of the ball of the ground and air makes him a superior in his area. Also, his presence in the opposition goal-post and success in those areas have made him his countries leading Goal-scorer. And when you have the defenders to score for you you always carry an extra advantage.

Key Player: Christiano Ronaldo

When you have arguably the best footballer of the decade in your team do you have to look further for inspiration or a role model or a person to lead from the front or from the side-benches even? And sum it all up with aggression, passion for football, and some in-human quality and ability to score and you get CR7. Also, Joao Felix, the attacking player with majestic skill is making a name for himself and obviously a player to watch out for in the Portugal team.



France:

Key Player: Antoine Greizman

A sly poacher is what you can call Griexman, and he has become France's highest scorer replacing Zidane, which itself is a no-nonsense feat. Clement Leglet in his very early ages has settled down well and has just played four games in the nationals journey but shows immense potential to take it to the best level,

Germany:

Key Player: Tony Kroos

Kroos has been associated since the German supremacy of World football and still carries his mantle in the side. Also, Kai Havertz is a name that would be keenly looked into this Cup and we won't wonder if he gets his famous strides to steer Germany ahead.

Coach: Luis Enrique

Key Player: Sergio Busquets 

Sergio Busquets was a key player in helping their winning of the 2012 and currently the most experienced player for their team. Though Gerad Moreno has made his debut only in 2019 but still the Villareal striker is a key-log inti the Spain team, and his success in the Europa League will always be a boaster for him.

Sweden:

Coach: Janne Anderson

Key Player: Robin Olsen.    

When you have a player like Olson guarding the net the team becomes much confident in getting ahead and go for a win. Alexander Isak the young striker always poses his long stride to the opponent's goalpost and ever eager to have his name on the score-sheet, and when you have a striker like him you can easily think of steer clear of some difficult situatuions.


Poland:

Key Player: Robert Lewandowski. 

Polland's all-time highest poacher and leading marksman, the Bayern Striker always large looms in the big matches, and he can choose the EUFA to be the stage to showcase what he can do...Also, keep an eye on Krzysztof that guy has got the very uncanny knack of scoring a goal every two matches...:-)


Slovakia:

Coach: Stephen Tarkovic

Key Player: Marek Hamsik. 

Slovakia's all-time top scorer and the most capped player is also the "Heart' of the Slovakian national team. His energy, passion, and direct passes carries the team in difficult times.

England:

Top Scorer in Qualifier: Harty Kane 

Coach: Gareth Southgate

Key Player: Harry Kane. 


One of the top scorers in the group leagues to qualify for this cup Harry would surely look forward to advancing England & pose some serious threat in the opponent goalkeeping arena.
The junior England team won the world cup jr trophy a few years back & most of them would be now back again to showcase their potential, and if the combinations put well England can posses some serious threat to any country on any given day. But as like their previous ancestors who had all had wonderful records and wonderful track records but somehow could not gel it out together, how forward this England team goes is always an interesting study for any football lover.



Croatia:

Coach: Zlatko Dalic

Key Player: Luka Mordich. 

Luka is looking forward to being capped the most number of caps for his country & he would seriously like to prove his worth of salt to reach there. The Ballon D'Or winner of 2018 and the golden boy who took ahead their team to the World Cup finals of 2018 is looked upon to achieve a great name. his mid-field touches if connected with Josip's goal-scoring powers can surely be devastating to any team.



Scotland:

Coach: Steve Clarke

Key Player: JohnMcGinn 

John the Scottish mid-fielder general, brings more to his team than to pass & tackle the ball, He is the key factor of the team to ignite the team at the right moments. John align-with Lyndon would be a force to reckon with in the opposition penalty box.




Czech Republic:

Tomas Soucek & Vladimir practically ruled the mid-filed to defeat England in their group stage and if they continue their run who can say how far they can proceed?

Netherlands :


Past Best Record in UEFA: WInners 1998

Top Scorer in Qualifier : Georginio Wijnaldum

Coach:  Frank de Boer

Key Player: Frenkie de Jong 

De Jong can be termed as the midfield maestro for the Dutch team as he controls the game with his superb ability to retain possession of the ball, create chances, and glide it to his teammates. In the qualifying round, they got beaten by Germany 2-3,  in the home match of Germany, but on the home match of their own they won the match by 2-4 and that shows the mantle of this team.


Ukraine:

Top Scorer in Qualifier: Roman Yaremchuk

Coach:  Andriy Shevchenko

Key Player: Andriy Yarmolenko

This is the first time Ukraine has qualified for the EURO directly and Roman, Yarmolenko both would look forward to use this chance to showcase their caliber and put the team in a good position.


Austria:

Key Player: Marko Arnautović

Austria had difficulties earlier in breaking the lock of the opponent's defense but in Marko, they can look forward to doing the same with relatively easier. Christoph, their attacking midfielder shows the perfection of precision passing and clinical ability in front of the goal. With these combinations, Austria can surprise anybody.

North Macedonia :

Coach: Igor Angelovski

Key Player: Goran Pandev

Pandev, though 37 now had been consistent in Italian league matches in scoring goals, and he leads right from the front to the letters. Eljif Elmas though just 21 has shown his capabilities in Napoli and moves the midfield like a well-oiled machine by his superb skills.

Coach: Kasmer Hjumand

Key Player: Christian Eriksen. 

One of the best current attacking mid-fielder Eriksen already has more than 100 caps for his country is the key trump card in the Denmark team. Mikkel Damsgaard is also making a name for himself and he is also a key player to watch for in this tournament.



Finland :

Coach: Markku Kanerva

Key Player : Teemu Pukki 

Teemu is in great form in recent years and his goals have powered Finland to progress in the groups. Also, Fredrik Jensen has been pitching in nicely and their combination of goals would be a sweet adventure for Finland.



Belgium :

Key Player : Kevin De Bruyne 

As the 19/30 Euro Champions league midfielder De Bruyne is going through the golden midas touch currently, and if their performance in the recent world-cup would be any hint to show what they can do as a team, then Denmark can obviously the choice of many to lift the cup. And their current standing as Number 1 as a team also have something which they would like to prove.




Russia :

Top Scorer in Qualifier : Artem Dzyuba

Coach: Stanislav Cherchesov

Key Player : Artem Dzyuba. 

Artem is currently the 2nd highest goal-getter for his country & would soon like to touch the pole position. And as seen by many Aleksandr Sobolev who is seen as the successor of Stanislav also started getting goals in national Jersey, so they both can score and show their mantle to prove their worth as a team.

UEFA EURO ::: Who will get the crown?

 It is the time of the UEFA EURO and we have brought our analysis of the exciting Football event as a usual overview of what is happening & what the rules say...

Currently, there are SIX groups in the UEFA EURO, and the countries which will be playing against each other are as following: 




Now let us have a look at the details of each teams from different groups:

Turkey: 

Past Best Record in UEFA: Semi-Finals in 2008

Top Scorer in Qualifier : Cenk Tousun

Coach: Senol Gunes

Key Player : Cenk Tousun. The Everton striker became the first-ever Turkish player to win the Golden Boot at the European championship.

Turkey missed the chance to qualify for the last 3 consecutive World Cups, and the last time they qualified was with the same coach Senol Gunes, who took their team to 3ed place in 2002. 

Turkey finished second in their qualifying round, only 2 points behind France. They were unbeaten against France in Paris when they Drew 1-1, and then beat the world champions  2-0  at home. 



Italy :

Past Best Record in UEFA: Winners in 1968

Top Scorer in Qualifier: Andrea Bellotti 

Coach: Robert Mancini

Key Player : Marco Varatti

After this shocking casualty of Russia 2018, it was very difficult for a Powerhouse like Italy to digest the happenings. But Mancini seems to pick up the reins, settling revamping, re-uniting the players, keeping guard, and placing more responsibility in younger players like Sandro Tonali. 

Italy qualified for this edition of EURO in style, winning all 10 games, scoring 37 goals, and conceding just 4 in all the games. 


WALES :

Past Best Record in UEFA: Semi-Finals (2016)

Top Scorer in Qualifier : Gareth Bale, Aron Ramsey, Kiffer More

Coach : Robert Page

Key Player : Gareth Bale

The disappointment of missing the 2018 World Cup , Wales enjoyed a great time in 20/21 UEFA Champions league ,earning promotion to League A as unbeaten Group B Winners. 


Switzerland :

Past Best Record in UEFA: Round of 16 (2016)

Top Scorer in Qualifier : Cedric Itten

Coach : Robert PageVladimir Pektovic

Key Player : Granit Xhaka

Zhaka, the key-hold which glues the team around has got their team into the qualifier from one of the toughest group, while losing 1 and picked 17 points from the group stage. Switzeralnd has proved their toughness over Denmark & Ireland in the stages, but will be team to watch in this UEFA Cup for sure as they are destined to do better than their previous tally in UEFA.
