Pitcures have been edited with the information received from Uefa.com

Denmark Vs Finland.....UEFA EURO 2021

Finland beat Denmark at Euro 2020 after Eriksen's collapse

We thought of many headlines, but that seems the only appropriate...What the Football lovers across the world yesterday was almost a horror movie. Erikson collapsed on the match while playing and the game had had to be stopped to provide him all necessary medical aids, and due to proper medical attention given in proper time Eriksen according to the latest news we have is in stable conditions...Hffff... let's have a sigh of relief.

Though the scoreline says & will be in favour of Finland, but this match will be remembered for another picture...and that is why we love football...

Yes, these are the essence of life named Football....

Finland beat Denmark 1-0 in their first major tournament game, but the Euro 2020 match will be remembered for Christian Eriksen, who is now in a stable condition after collapsing on the pitch.

Denmark and Inter Milan midfielder Eriksen is in a stable condition in hospital, the Danish FA said, after he dropped to the ground at the Parken Stadium shortly before half-time of the Group B fixture, leaving players from both teams in clear distress.

English referee Anthony Taylor immediately called medics on to the pitch and Eriksen underwent prolonged treatment with compressions performed on the chest of the Inter Milan player before he was taken to hospital.

The game was suspended for about 90 minutes after Eriksen needed urgent medical treatment near the end of the first half before being taken to a hospital.

The Danish Football Association later provided an update on the 29-year-old's condition and revealed the match would be completed on Saturday night, as requested by both sets of players.

Finland, appearing in their first major international tournament, scored against the run of play with their first attempt on goal on the hour mark. Jere Uronen's left-wing cross was headed home by Joel Pohjanpalo from eight yards out, slipping through the grasp of Kasper Schmeichel. Pohjanpalo put Finland ahead against the run of play in the 60th minute when he rose above Joakim Maehle to head home a cross from Jere Uronen. Goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel got his hands on the ball but couldn’t keep it out.

Denmark were awarded a penalty with 18 minutes remaining as Poulsen went down after a slight clip from Paulus Arajuuri, but Tottenham midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg struck his spot-kick into the hands of Lukas Hradecky, who guessed correctly.

It was Finland's only effort on goal in the entire game as Denmark dominated throughout and finished with 23 total shots, although only six were on target.

EURO 2021: Belgium Vs Russia

  • Belgium is one of only two European teams (alongside France) to have reached the quarter-finals of each of the last three major tournaments (World Cup + European Championships, reaching the last 8 at World Cup 2014, Euro 2016, World Cup 2018).
  • As the USSR, Russia won the first European Championships in 1960, beating Yugoslavia 2-1 after extra time in the final. They have lost the subsequent three European Championships finals they have reached: 1964, 1972, and 1988.

Russia has started the match with real pace. Dzyuba is looking dangerous and almost opened-up player here. Dzyuba will be key. In the 7th Minute Dzyuba wins the first corner of the night, but the cross was extremely poor. Nothing came of it. Dzyuba is DANGER.

Lukaku's early goal, fortunate in its nature, settled their nerves with their free-scoring striker ruled onside after Semyonov's unfortunate touch gave him an open goal from 12 yards. He dedicated his opener to Inter team-mate Christian Eriksen, who had collapsed in Denmark's defeat to Finland earlier on Saturday.

It was not that Belgium was creating too many chances ...But at a relative premium until Hazard, from another defensive mistake, pulled a smart save from Shunin at his near post with a low effort from wide. The Dortmund winger forced the goalkeeper into action again 11 minutes before half-time, but this time palmed the ball straight at Meunier, who pounced on the loose ball to double Belgium's lead.
The second half became somewhat of a non-event thanks to Belgium's comfortable lead and little to trouble them from Russia's perspective, but in the final minutes, they added to their advantage to equal the scoreline from Italy's impressive opening victory against Turkey.

Meunier's fine threaded ball from midfield saw Lukaku show his pace to beat Diveev in a foot race and fire past Shunin from inside the box to secure a scoreline that matched Belgium's lofty expectations - for their opening game, at least.

Russia had started the better on home soil but flagged badly after falling behind and failed to use veteran forward Artem Dzyuba's presence to their advantage, as they failed to test Thibaut Courtois throughout and started their Group B campaign with a hard-working but frustrating defeat.

Opening Match of EURO 2021: Turkey Vs ITALY

Previous Records: Italy's only European title was in 1968, with Turkey's best effort a run to the semi-finals at Euro 2008.

Italy coach Roberto Mancini opted for a 4-3-3 formation for Italy's return to a major tournament for the first time in five years after missing out on the 2018 World Cup.

In-form captain Burak Yilmaz starts for Turkey, as does his Lille teammate Yusuf Yazici, who scored a hat-trick past Donnarumma in the Europa League last November.

Juventus center-back Merih Demiral is part of a four-man Turkish defense.

First Attempt: Italy has started brightly with Florenzi gunning down the right-wing as he chased down a heavy pass in behind and then keeping Ugurcan Cakır alert at his near post as he cut back into the path of Immobile. The Italian striker shot wide.

A stalemate in the mid-field ...It seems both the teams are cautious in their defense and ready to take down any chances the opposition creates. Who will break ahead first?

Lorenzo Insigne with the first real chance of the game, after a good one-two Nicolo Barella, but he misses. Italy is getting more control on the game and keeping more possession of the ball currently.

Ugurcan Cakir though is there in goal as he jumps high and tips the perfect heard of Chiellini out from the goal, wonderful attempt.

At the break as Turkey have sat deep and defended diligently so far keeping all the efforts of the Italian attacks at bay.

Domenico Berardi made an adventurous run down the right flank and as he tried to square the ball back in the dangerous six-yard box, unfortunately, Merih Demiral diverted it into his own net. Nothing but the most unlucky case for any stopper any day....1-0 Italy goes ahead.

The ball was dropping back from the save of the goalkeeper to Cakir, by the terrific save from Spinazzola's powerful low strike. But the 31-year-old Lazio striker calmly slots the ball past the desperate keeper into the far corner of the net....A perfect poachers goal. 2-0 Italy

Insigne is played on the ball after an error from Turkey, and from six yards out, he produces a lovely curling first-time finish into the far post. 3-0 Italy.

Italy impressed in a 3-0 win over Turkey. All the goals came in the second half in front of a Stadio Olimpico.
